Hidden behind this resonant shade,
A will once tempered by the storms of plague
Seasons of silence, a muting of hope not endured
Defying the violent design
Do you dread the turning of the tide?
Reluctant, forced to choose a side
Can you trust the guiding of the hand?
Granting sight to the blind
We weep with the withering woods
It's flesh and barren bone
This brilliant glow, alone, still flickers yet i hold
A gentle brush of splendor to paint this fading world
Basking in clouds with a taste for the horizon
Enthralled by all that is bound
Beneath the ash once laid a wanderer's dream
The forest of moons that held the sky, now only speaks in sighs
Awaken, helpless sibling sun - the burning wheel above
Sol witness to all things undone
We weep with the withering woods
It's flesh and barren bone

The "Cult..." is UADA's sophomore album, and among all, the one I largely prefer. The Vocal performance, to start with, is truly outstanding, and while I really liked their debut album, this one is more varied, and overall is technically superior to anything else I've heard from UADA. Fast, aggressive, but with enchanting melodies to break in between, à la Dissection. Highly recommended! sachavonkarl74
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024
